We are committed to:

• safeguarding Capstone Valley from development
• resisting unrealistic government housing targets
• promoting brown field sites for future large-scale development
• protecting Rochester airport
• resisting plans for a lower Thames crossing into the Hoo Peninsula

Saving our environment

We will continue to:

• increase recycling rates
• combat graffiti
• improve street cleaning
• stamp out fly-tipping

Improving our transport

We are committed to:

• continuing the half price bus fare for school children
• maintaining the popular yellow bus scheme for Medway's children
• improving roads and pavements

Making our communities safer

We continue to press for effective policing by:

• stepping up enforcement against anti-social behaviour
• working with the police to improve neighbourhood policing
• strengthening our Community Safety Police Team
